The WildflowerSearch apps work perfectly when offline, which is great. But I think the best thing about the WS apps is the huge list of external links for each species, for when you have an Internet connection. Sometimes you want to know further details or see more photos, and this app contains links to OregonFlora, Paul Slichter's excellent Flora NW pages, Flora of North America, UW's Burke Herbarium, CalFlora, iNaturalist, and many others.

This is a really effective app for plant id in many situations, including botanical field work. It's really great for narrowing down the options, and has a surprising number of plants represented, almost everything common and showy. Thank you for making it free!

A review! So nice. Android sends me reviews but Apple does not. On the other hand Android almost makes it impossible to make large apps like this one. In fact, I have a bunch of updates that I can't put into the app because Android's code does not now compile. So use an Apple device if you want the latest good stuff.
