BLOGS & TUTORIALS
Enjoy the latest from our blog and fun tutorials that show you how to take better care of your plants, grow new plants and even propagate some of your faves!

WILLOW SENSORS

Our beautifully crafted plant sensors continuously monitor your plant’s soil moisture, ambient light, temperature and humidity and will alert you when an action is required to keep your plant happy. And of course a plant score to truly let you know how your plant is feeling.

Willow Grow is an optional paid experience packed with features a-planty to level up your plant care:

PLANT DATA

Unbarred access to your Willow sensor. Take a deep dive and explore your data (light, soil moisture, temperature and humidity) and plant score over the past 30 days.

PLANT DOCTOR

Consult our team of horticulturists for expert advice. Chat anything from general plant advice, treatment advice related to pests and diseases, propagation, plant pairings or plants just right for you etc.

DISEASE ID

Take a photo and our smart engine will identify what is ailing your plant. The symptoms, prevention and treatment advice can be saved to your plant.

PLANT MATCHER

Get matched with plants that suit you best in our quiz and/or have Best For You analyse your sensor data to recommend the plants best for your space

Despite paying a premium for the hardware, any sensor information is locked behind a pay wall subscription. I get additional optional features beyond pay as you go but accessing the basic info that you pay for the sensor for should not be. I've set it all up but have no useable info as to whether plants need watering or more sunlight. A basic analog water sensor gives better information.

We currently have a three sensor setup, with a large monstera , a corn plant , and a large Ivy. They are situated in a conservatory, where the temperatures and light can vary wildly. Using the Willow system really gives me the confidence that i am not over or under watering. being able to track key measurements of moisture, humidity, temperature and light, rather than just spot checks is great to see the trend of these over time. We will definately be adding to the system!

I bought the Willow unit with 5 sensors, It is not worth wasting the money on, everything is hidden behind a pay wall. even after you pay $200+ for the gear. Total junk.
