888 is about trusting a fast, rough read of number.

Left and right blink a scatter of dots and are gone in an instant. Your task is to say which side was fuller. The whole point is to decide by eye, faster than counting could ever be.

A correct answer carries you on; a mistake takes one of your tries. Hit the level's quota of right answers to finish it.

The amounts always sit a set distance apart, so the answer is real, never a trick. Climbing the levels pulls those amounts closer, cuts the flash from a long look to a brief one, and piles on more dots, so the margin you are judging keeps shrinking.
