Playdoit
Playdoit brings a classic to a neon circuit board. Five by five cells, four markers each. First you and the AI alternate dropping your markers onto the board. Once all eight are down, every turn becomes a single slide - one marker, one step, to an open neighbouring cell. Win by lining up your four markers in a straight row, column or diagonal, or by pulling them onto the four corners of a 2x2 square. Either shape ends the game the instant it forms.
The opponent is a real alpha-beta search, not a coin flip: it always takes an immediate win when one is on the board, and it always closes off your one-move win when you have one, on every single level. What changes as you climb is how many moves ahead it plans - level one looks barely past the next turn, level twenty reads the position several plies deep and punishes loose placement.
Twenty levels rise from a forgiving opening opponent to a sharp, patient one. Win fast and clean for three stars and bank coins toward the shop. Nothing here is decided by luck or paywall - every board is fully visible, every AI move is legal and deterministic from a seed, and every level can be beaten with better play.
