Pinco
Pinco is a peg-and-link connection duel played on an 8x8 grid of holes. You
own the left and right edges, the relay opponent owns the top and bottom.
Drop a peg on any open, legal hole and it links automatically to every peg you
already control that sits a knight's move away — as long as the new wire
doesn't cross one already on the board, yours or the AI's. Whoever first
strings an unbroken chain of pegs and links from their own edge to their own
edge wins outright.
Twenty levels raise the stakes by making the relay opponent search further
ahead and read your lane sooner, not by changing the rules or hiding
information. Every match is skill versus skill: no hints that break fairness,
no pay-to-win shortcuts, no adjustable difficulty stacked against you mid-game.
Faster, wire-efficient wins earn more stars and coins, rewarding players who
learn to read the board and cut off the opponent's route while building their
own. The core loop trains real spatial planning — the same kind that makes
the original tabletop connection game endure.
No emoji, no fabricated awards, no gimmicks — just a clean grid, two colours,
and whoever links first.
Peg the grid. Link your edge. Never cross a wire.
