A full 104 cards are dealt into ten columns, and it is up to you to crack the vault by moving every single card home to the foundations. THE CLASSIC RULES, DONE RIGHT
Ten tableau columns are each dealt four face-up cards. Eight foundations build up by suit from Ace to King, two foundations for every suit. The tableau builds down in the same suit, one card at a time - no shortcuts, no packed-run cheats. Empty a column and it will hold any card you like. This is authentic Forty Thieves, also known as Napoleon at St Helena, played the way the purists demand.

SKILL, NOT CHANCE
Turn the stock one card at a time onto the waste - and remember, there is no redeal, so every draw counts. Think two moves ahead, open up your columns, and free those buried aces before the stock runs dry. Every deal rewards patience and a sharp eye.
