About this app

* An integrated Winix Smart App to control Winix Smart Air Purifiers has been released.
Winix Smart App requires permissions to the following services:
Even if you do not allow optional permissions, you can still use the service limitedly.

- Location (optional) : Needed to access your current outdoor air quality location.
- Call (optional) : Needed to call customer service.

(The Winix Samrt app never performs other functions using the above permission.)

- Enable the Winix Smart Custom Skill for Alexa to learn all commands for your Winix Smart Air Purifier.


Outdoor air quality – Real-time outdoor air quality information for your current location or search by city

Indoor air quality – Displays the current air quality conditions of the room your Winix air purifier is in

Schedule – Run your Winix Air Purifier only during certain times by setting a schedule

Alexa – Click here to enable the Winix Smart Custom Skill for Alexa to learn all commands or Alexa lets you use your voice to control your Winix Air Purifier by speaking commands through an Alexa device.

This would be a much better app if they didn't intrusive ask me all the time to rate it, to advertise deals on filters... and no option to stop, only "remind me again in 3 days".. the app should be for convenience to operate the air purifier, not require more effort to get to the settings page. You want my rating, you got it! 2026-04-15 update: still at it nagging with constant ad in app for filter purchase.

Absolute garbage. Still shows you ads and won't let you turn them off (except for a day) It's annoying to control multiple fans at once. Some modes you can flip through quickly, but not control. You can't do anything to control all your fans at once or set up groups. You can't even reset the filter timer using the app. The remaining filter time is calculated purely through uptime and ignores the fan speed. cannot connect to Google since their integration is broken

Terrible app, 0/5 stars. I've never experienced such a horrible setup procedure with a smart product. I just can't connect to my 5510 air purifier. I've spent over 3 hours trying every solution I can find online and I'm stuck at the "finding your device" part. Even when I'm directly connected to the device it can't find it...
