About this game

Merge Bread is a relaxing merge puzzle game set in a neighbourhood bakery. You drag matching items together to combine them into better ones, use what you bake to fill customer orders, and spend the coins you earn restoring the bakery around you.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Tap a generator on the board — an oven, a mixer, a sack of flour — to produce items.
2. Drag one item onto another identical item. The two merge into a single item one level higher: two wheat bundles make a sourdough starter, two starters make proofed dough, and so on.
3. Keep merging up the chain to reach the finished bakes: baguettes, croissants, pretzels, sourdough boules, cinnamon rolls and a full baker's platter.
4. Customers arrive with orders shown at the top of the screen. Deliver the item they ask for to earn coins and experience.
5. Spend coins on the bakery map to repair and upgrade buildings, which opens new areas and new items to merge.

• Breads — 12 levels, from a wheat bundle to a baker's platter
• Cakes & Desserts — 12 levels, from a flour sack to a berry trifle
• Cafe Drinks — coffee beans through to a full cafe set for two
• Cookies & Treats — sugar cookies, gingerbread, macarons and gift boxes
• Jams & Preserves — fresh berries through to a ribboned jam basket
• Ovens — 9 levels of baking equipment, from a clay pot to a grand brick oven
• Baking Tools — 9 levels, from a wooden spoon to a professional stand mixer

RECIPE BOOK
Every item you discover is recorded permanently in the Recipe Book, reachable from the button at the bottom-left of the bakery screen. It shows each collection, which items you have found, which are still unknown, and how far along you are. Complete a whole collection and you can claim a one-time gem reward.

BAKERY RESTORATION
The bakery is rebuilt in stages across several zones. Each building has four upgrade levels, and repairing them unlocks new characters, story conversations and new merge chains. Six neighbourhood characters appear as you progress, each with their own dialogue.

ENERGY AND CURRENCIES
Producing items from a generator costs energy, which refills over time on its own. Coins are earned from orders and spent on bakery repairs. Gems are a premium currency used for shortcuts and are also awarded for completing Recipe Book collections.
