About this app

Free to Listen!

Immerse yourself in the authentic AM experience with the WIWS Radio app! 50s & 60s music, jingles, and commercials with other vintage programming! All the hits are waiting for you in real radio sound, along with many deep cuts, B-sides, and more! Plus, the playback page features a random historic transistor radio that you can look at while you're listening—it will really seem like 1965 has taken over your listening device!

Join DJs Ray Ford and Dottie Greco along with newsman Rick Peters as they take you on a one-of-a-kind, virtual broadcasting experience! Available 24 hours a day, with special features, countdowns, and other exclusive events such as the news from 60 years ago every day, Monday–Friday, presented as an actual, current real-time newscast!

Broadcasting over the inter-air from Beckley, West Virginia, WIWS Radio takes you back, but in real-time with an ongoing, dynamic music selection mixed with a smorgasbord of sounds—it's real radio, not a playlist! It's free to listen, although you will hear occasional short commercials encouraging your Patreon support. The wise choice in radio, WIWS!

This isn't your average golden oldies station. This is a deep dive into what radio really used to be like, with deep cuts, era correct jingles, and the vocal talents of Ray Ford and Dottie Greco. It even sounds like a distant station on AM radio.
