It's a fun rpg, if not unyielding in its difficulty, which is not so great that it's TOO hard. The writing is very well done and the characters don't seem flat. My only complaint is that when the founder dies, it can be kinda demoralizing for me as a player, which makes me want to end the run and try again, but there is no option to prematurely end a run. I would just have to purposefully whittle down or kill my remaining party. If I'm gonna flip the board anyway, it could at least go faster.

I liked the story telling a lot! The game reaches a point where it gets repetitive as you wander the map in circles completing quests, but before then, when everything's still mysterious and unknown, the game is just fantastic! My biggest complaint is that the shield tank melee guy sucks & the crossbow is an overpriced downgrade. Maybe give the shield guy a standing-still cleave attack & increase the bonus damage on the crossbow. Thank you for making this wonderful game.

So it's a lot of fun for sure, but it gets old really quick. Once you gain access to the hinterlands, there's really nothing else to do to progress, you just complete tasks for random people you meet at bars and fight the occasional random encounter. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the quests, there's a fair bit of variety in them and there are some fun stories, but it kinda just gets repetitive and old.
