Wolow is a wake on LAN app that allows you to remotely start up a computer by sending a "magic packet" request.

Simply add a device configuration inside the app, select the device you would like to start up and then press the power button and as long as your configuration is correct you can watch your computer start up.

Wake on LAN is a network protocol that is supported by the majority of Ethernet cards available. Before using the app ensure your computer is fully configured to work with the wake on LAN protocol. A guide on how to set up your computer can be found within the app at the bottom.

I first used this app on iOS. It was absolutely amazing, letting me turn my computer on, and, after I paid the premium cost, perform several more actions that really help me save time, without getting to my computer. Now it's on Android, and the experience is pretty much the same! I really like it. Question: is there a way to use Google Assistant like I used Siri Shortcuts to great effect, to turn on/off/lock/whatever my computer with my voice? That would be amazing! Keep up the great work!

Clean interface and fairly straight forward setup once I read the website and saw that it required an Ethernet connection. The wolow companion works like a charm and recognized the computer immediately. Turning on your computer is free but a $1.99 one time purchase gives you access to restart, shutdown, and sleep modes which is a more than a reasonable price. Great product and I hope to see more updates in the future (a remote desktop function perhaps).

This app is excellent. It turns my PC on and off with my cellphone. I can save the wear and tear on my power button. I love this on my gaming pc. I highly recommend this app. It is the best. You will have to search a bit for the right ip address. It took me about five minutes. it is super easy to find the IP for your computer. If the PC app doesn't work you can find the right ones just follow the instructions for a deep dive into your computer. They have great customer service and support.
