Wolow is a wake on LAN app that allows you to remotely start up a computer by sending a "magic packet" request.

Simply add a device configuration inside the app, select the device you would like to start up and then press the power button and as long as your configuration is correct you can watch your computer start up.

Wake on LAN is a network protocol that is supported by the majority of Ethernet cards available. Before using the app ensure your computer is fully configured to work with the wake on LAN protocol. A guide on how to set up your computer can be found within the app at the bottom.

I first used this app on iOS. It was absolutely amazing, letting me turn my computer on, and, after I paid the premium cost, perform several more actions that really help me save time, without getting to my computer. Now it's on Android, and the experience is pretty much the same! I really like it. Question: is there a way to use Google Assistant like I used Siri Shortcuts to great effect, to turn on/off/lock/whatever my computer with my voice? That would be amazing! Keep up the great work!

Clean interface and fairly straight forward setup once I read the website and saw that it required an Ethernet connection. The wolow companion works like a charm and recognized the computer immediately. Turning on your computer is free but a $1.99 one time purchase gives you access to restart, shutdown, and sleep modes which is a more than a reasonable price. Great product and I hope to see more updates in the future (a remote desktop function perhaps).

Super easy to use and super responsive. Do I need this, no not at all. But do I want it, hell yeah! the response time is as if I've hit the physical buttons on my pc. Only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because the widgets are only for IOS. It is a tiny bit of a hassle to open up the app but than again, I'm just being lazy xD however would be really cool if widgets could also be for android
