Workotrack puts everyone in an endurance event on one live map.
Taking part? Enter the code your organiser gave you, turn sharing on at the
start, and put your phone away. Your position appears on the event's map until
you stop or the event's window closes, which it does on its own.
Watching? The people following you need no account and no app. They open a link
and see every participant on the course, how far each has come, and roughly when
to expect them at the finish.
WHAT IT DOES
- Live positions on the event's own course, not a dot in a field beside the road
- Distance covered and distance left, because every position is matched to the
route
- Finish estimates that account for the climbs ahead rather than an average pace
- Battery settings from most accurate to most economical, so a long day still
ends with a phone that works
FOR ORGANISERS
Create an event at workotrack.com, upload the course as a GPX or TCX file, and
share the join code. Spectators get one link that works for everyone.
PRIVACY
Sharing is per event and per participant. Location is recorded only while you
have sharing turned on, only inside the window the organiser set, and it stops
by itself when that window closes. You can turn it off at any time, and deleting
your account removes your position history with it.
Workotrack is not official timing, and it is not safety equipment. Positions
come from consumer phone GPS and mobile coverage, both of which have gaps.
