Software Needs Updating! First, the 3 moves repetition, and in the endgame phase the 50 moves limits are missing altogether! Second, the Openings are quite narrow, hence the games played are very predictable! Thirdly, the challenge problems should have been more difficult and strong! Other than these 3 issues, it's a good time-pass during long journeys! Having said that, the 5 levels are easy from 1 to 4, but level 5 is clearly of the level of International Chess Master! Sandeep.

There are five levels. I'm about a 1000, so I played on level three to get a feel for it, and it felt like I was playing on a beginner level. Mind you, I haven't played chess in years so it's not like I've gotten better or anything. Also the position of the pieces in relation to the squares they rest on is so distracting and frustrating; makes no sense and it makes the game almost unplayable. If I was playing on a proper median level, I would've thrown away the game. Besides that it runs smooth.

My knowledge on chess is zero. I bought books of Boris Spaski, and would set up the board. Then i would play each move and try to figure out the strategy. Slowly but surely i became addicted to the game. Unfortunately, my work in the oilfield took over. I have not played a game for almost 35 years. Shockingly i still seem to remember some moves. I am shocked i beat level 5. I would like to see a higher level. Thanks for asking. ( 71 years ) and still going strong.
