I've tried for a while to make this game worth it, but the primary flaw in Shadow Era is a lack of card diversity. It's a one-note game that doesn't allow for innovative deck creation. Since 2011, the game came out with 4 expansions and they all have the same feel. There's not enough player control. Players can do nothing on another players turn and it's easy for one player to take control of the game and prevent the other from getting a foothold.

I've been playing this game off and on since 2011 lots and lots of changes over the years I wish we had more heros added like 5 to 8 a year , I wish the main blue made would go back to hitting everyone for 4 at once or have it build up costing more with an overload ability built in so if you save up extra it's stronger in some way give it too all characters. And if you guys could please give me 2 legendary with 4 packs to open that would be great! Thank you for your time

Overall it's a well designed game, and it seems balanced. The only complaint I have is that as a free player, it takes alot of grinding to get booster packs. Each game takes between 10 and 15 minutes typically, and after the first couple of levels it takes dozens of them to get a level, which only amounts to 1/4 of a new booster pack. It's hard to get into multiplayer (which rewards better) when I still don't have a decent collection of cards to experiment with.

What's new

Two New Legendary Characters and a great many bug fixes, buffs, and a couple of nerfs.
