Really like this app. It has the notifications that tell you about severe weather, even lighting. Sometimes the app doesn't load or freezes. Not bothersome enough to find a new app though. (: **edited March 2021 - the app is slow. Wont load. Doesn't update like it used to. It freezes constantly. Getting another app now. Idk what has been done or not done to this app but its literal garbage now.

It works ok however if you tab out to a message or even activate split screen it resets to splash screen ad. It will send a notification and then plays ads that are longer than the video, The videos are available on the website without the ads. Honestly just using the website is faster In both loading and less advertising. It's as much of a money grab as the weather channel's app now. What is sad is the first version of this app was 10x better, usually apps get better with time. Not this one.

I have had this app for number of years and usually it works great. Lately I have been having issues with it getting my current location and sending me notifications, even though I have notifications turned off. Also the follow me option used to be my default. Now, if I look at the weather for someplace I am going, the app stays on that location.
