I started off thinking that, for the price, this app is a good deal; however this opinion very quickly changed once I realised the speed at which the Android Team at Xample work. For a number of months we have been promised updates, but no real time frame. We are yet to see any 'Major' update. In the UK, the new airspace file was made public by OpenAIP back in March/April time and included the new/changed airspace around the Southeast UK. I told Air Nav about this and they said they would include it in the next release. We have had two, maybe 3 minor releases since that point (fixing a few bugs) and they have still failed to include it. I fully understand that developing on Android is harder because of the need to cater for a wide number of devices, however, in my case, I'm not asking for lots of new features... I would be happy (or nearly happy) with JUST the most recent airspace file... I would, just about, recommend Air Navigation Pro (for Android) to people looking for a simple moving map with airspace overlay as, for the price, it's great. However, it must be said that updates are few and far between and communication is poor! Sorry Xample...
Very good but need improvement Shall be more simple to use. To name route is tricky . Great software for the value. Thx
Can't find GPS on nexus tab on Android 5 I don't know if it is the android version or air nav, now it cant locate the GPS anymore... Help
Stopped working after last update Stopped working after last update. On sony xperia z tab. Please fix asap. App is fix now and working fine
Improvement needed I still have issues that the screen jumps offset when zooming in and out. Needs to be fixed otherwise the app is a hazard during flight. Furthermore the swiss VACs dont get updated automatically even though i have a subscription. Manuell removal and adding is needed. Transfer of the flightplan from the osx app is also not possible.
Not quite there Still has its issues.
