About this app

It's 11pm. A recruiter needs your STCW tonight. You know you have it. You just can't find it.

YachtSync fixes the cert chaos that every maritime crew member knows — and it's completely free.

WHAT YACHTSYNC DOES

YachtSync is a free iOS certificate management app built specifically for maritime crew. Scan any certificate with your phone camera, and AI reads it, identifies the type, detects the expiry date, and names the file correctly — automatically. No typing. No folders. No chaos.

---

KEY FEATURES

🔍 AI Certificate Scanning
Point your camera at any maritime certificate. YachtSync's AI reads it instantly — name, type, and expiry date detected with high confidence, even from imperfect photos.

🟢 Red / Amber / Green Dashboard
See every certificate you hold at a glance. Expired in red. Expiring soon in amber. Valid in green. Know your compliance status in under two seconds.

📁 Smart File Naming
Every certificate is automatically saved with the correct filename format: Firstname_Lastname — Certificate Type — Expiry Date.pdf. Right format, right name, every time. Never send the wrong file to an agent again.

🔔 Expiry Alerts
Get push notifications 30, 14, and 7 days before a certificate expires. Enough time to book the renewal course before it becomes a problem.

📤 One-Tap Portfolio Share
Send your complete certificate portfolio to an agent or captain in a single tap. Correct file format, correct file size, correct names — packaged and ready.

✈️ Offline Access
Your certificates live on your device. No signal at anchor, on passage, or in a remote anchorage? Everything still works.

☁️ EU Cloud Backup
Your data is backed up on EU-based servers, fully GDPR-compliant. Your certificates. Your data. Your control. Export or delete at any time.

📋 100+ Maritime Certificate Types
Search from a library of over 100 maritime certificate types — STCW, ENG1, GMDSS, PDSD, OOW, flag state endorsements, and more. Or add a custom type.

WHO IT'S FOR

YachtSync is built for working maritime crew at every level:
- Deckhands building their first certificate portfolio
- Officers managing their own certs and keeping track of renewals
- Chief stewardesses and engineers with multi-cert compliance requirements
- Captains who need their own documentation always shareable and up to date

Whether you work in superyacht, commercial maritime, sail training, or expedition vessels — if you hold maritime certificates, YachtSync was built for you.

---

WHY IT'S FREE

Crew shouldn't have to pay to manage their own professional credentials. YachtSync is free for crew and always will be. No subscription. No premium tier. No catch.

---

BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO LIVED THE PROBLEM

YachtSync was built by a working maritime officer who started as a deckhand — dockwalking in Antibes with a USB stick of wrongly-named PDFs, spending Sunday evenings hunting for certs in email threads, missing opportunities because the portfolio wasn't ready.

The tool we needed didn't exist. So we built it.
