When you enter a registered destination (within the set distance), your smartphone will send a notification (with your entered message). Use this to prevent forgetting items while shopping or accidentally missing your stop on the train!
Open the map, long-press at your destination to register it.
Turn on “Background Activation” in the menu and check the target destination to start notifications.

“Toucha-kun” is a name combining the Japanese word ‘tōchaku’ (arrival) and “-kun” (an honorific suffix used for close acquaintances).
Conversely, turn background activation OFF when not in use to save battery life.
Tapping a notification turns it off, but leaving it untouched will deliver up to 5 reminders.
Use notifications to prevent shopping list oversights or missing train stops.
With detailed settings, it can even guide you through unfamiliar locations.
