Yammi turns a barcode into a straight answer.
Point your camera at any food or cosmetic product. Yammi looks it up, reads the ingredient list, and scores it out of 100 — then shows you exactly why.
WHY THAT SCORE
Every single point deducted comes with the reason attached. No hidden arithmetic, no black box. If Yammi marks something down for seed oils, partially hydrogenated fats or a synthetic preservative, it tells you which ingredient triggered it and what the concern is. You are free to disagree with any of it.
WHAT IT LOOKS FOR
Food: seed oils, trans fats, added sugars, artificial sweeteners, artificial colours, flavour enhancers, emulsifiers and gums, undisclosed flavourings, preservatives, palm oil — and the whole ingredients worth crediting.
Cosmetics: parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde releasers, fragrance and fragrance allergens, harsh sulfates, silicones, PEG compounds, drying alcohol, chemical UV filters, antibacterials.
MADE PERSONAL
Set what matters to you and the score follows. Gluten free, dairy free, nut free, soy free, egg free, shellfish free, vegan, vegetarian. Or choose ingredients to avoid outright — anything that clashes with your choices is raised as a personal alert, not buried in a list.
BETTER OPTIONS
When something scores badly, Yammi looks through the same product category and ranks genuinely cleaner alternatives, scored by the same rules.

Search products by name. Revisit everything you have scanned. Save the ones worth remembering. Full nutrition breakdown for food, plus the official nutrition grade, processing group and environmental grade where the database has them.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of what you scan. Your preferences, history and saved products are stored on your phone and nowhere else. Payments are handled by Google Play; an anonymous record unlocks Premium. Scanned products are cached for a week, so repeat scans are instant and work offline.
WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM
Product records come from Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts, the open databases built by volunteers worldwide and licensed under ODbL. The scoring layer on top is Yammi's own. Because the data is community-maintained, records can be incomplete, out of date, or missing entirely — coverage is strongest in Europe.
