Cashmere, A luxury Himalayan natural fiber, redefining sustainable fashion.
Yes Helping Hand, a non-profit organization born in 2015 as a vision of hope, empowerment, and encouragement for Nepal's society. Dedicated to supporting single mothers, the specially-abled, and marginalized communities, we provide free job training programs with food allowance to unlock their potential and equip them with skills for meaningful employment. Our mission extends to creating sustainable, animal-cruelty-free products that respect both people and the planet. Sourcing eco-friendly fibers like Himalayan Cashmere and natural wool, we craft timeless Cashmere scarves, cashmere sweaters, wool jackets, and handcrafted accessories that celebrate Nepal's rich culture and traditions. Every piece we create weaves a story of empowerment, ethical practices, and a commitment to preserving our environment.
Our mission:
Our mission is to promote sustainable clothing production, ethical sourcing, fair trade, and most of all, provide the special members of our community with a suitable working place where they feel content.
Our Products:
Our pashmina and cashmere products range from scarves to sweaters, panchos to cape shawls, all of which are natural, ethical, sustainable, handmade, 100% natural, and carbon-free. In addition to that, we also produce sustainable hemp, silk rugs, art and handicrafts, and Himalayan Sheep wool products, and others.
Artisan Empowerment:
Artisans are not born, they are made. With that in mind, we have training programs that focus on a holistic approach to training. We teach our trainees all the necessary info, skills, and more, making sure that they are not just machine operators but one who has some understanding of the machine they are working with.
Quality, Sustainable, & Eco-friendly:
Our cashmere, sourced from the yaks of Upper Mustang, is renowned for its exceptional quality and unmatched softness. Each piece, whether it's a comfortable Pashmina shawl or a finely woven garment, reflects the dedication and skill of our remarkable artisans. Our collections of natural and classic cashmere products are crafted with care and skill by the specially abled people of Nepal.
Community Engagement:
We financially support special ed schools while also supporting the local differently-abled community. We engage with the whole community as we train and employ differently-abled adults while promoting differently-abled schools, and promoting education to those special kids. YHH is also committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity. We provide employment opportunities to single women, individuals from the third-gender community, and those who are hard of hearing.
