Just absolutely terrible once an item is categorized you're locked out from ever seeing it again. So if you put it in the wrong spot it's gone forever screwing up your budget. Edit: You are actually able to find your transaction buried in a sub menu of details, which is just terrible organization. Instead of opening your spreadsheet and tapping on a category you need multiple directions to get where it's logical to go.

Used to love this app, but I can't justify their price increase ($100 for a budgeting app is out of control) for an app that has bugs and constant syncing issues, not to mention some of the least useful reporting I've ever seen in a budgeting app. They say they had to increase their price to improve the app and service, but it's gone in the opposite direction. The worst part is that the price increase was communicated poorly. I didn't even know until I was charged. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I've used differed budgeting tools over the years and I have found ynab to be very helpful. For past five months though it has stopped importing transactions automatically from both my credit union and major bank credit card. I have removed and reconnected accounts several times through Plaid and still nothing comes through. Support hasn't been much help. Since I'm entering transactions manually and the subscription rate has increased to $100 I'm likely going to be moving on.

What's new

Sure, the days may be getting shorter but so is the process for adjusting your loan accounts! Now, by the glow of your Android screen, you can see and edit details of any loan account.

Also, to keep your transactions cozy and organized, this update allows you to name your transaction flags with labels like “Tax deductible,” “Ben’s stuff,” or just about anything. One last update before bed, you’ll now find it easier to view transactions you’ve recently added. Happy hibernating.
