it's not to bad of a gig for you have a decent set of tools and you are a competent mech. But it does have its nuances. remember your a mobile mechanic and the only thing they provide is the parts, customers*, and the platform itself. Everything else is on you, If your not used to or can't get used working on flat rate this is not for you. (customer's are base off your tooling and expertise)

Platform allows customers to self diagnose their cars by pointing and clicking, costing me time and fuel running around getting unnecessary parts. Ym always sourced the cheapest parts possible that often failed even if I had to drive well out of my way to pick up. I clearly stated where I was willing to go for service calls but was still sent to bad sections of town where I was constantly looking over my shoulder and wishing that I brought my gun. Mobile mechanic is an interesting idea, but real shops exist for a reason.

I have worked as a master technician for them a little under 3 months and I easily clear almost 1000 for a solid weekend of work. As long as you do a good job, great communication and as good of a technician as your assigned level, you will do well. The parts are ridiculous but its the same at any shop or dealership trust me!! I get a real person if I have a question and yes you have to be set up a mobile mechanic (ie suv or van, tool box in vehicle, able to perform at your skill level)
