1. Download font file from online. To search font, just google "FREE FONT".
2. Open font file (***zip, ***ttf, ***.otf) in Phonto.

Ratings and reviews

I bought the Paid version to get rid of the ads, and because I found that I was using it more and more because it is easy and dies what I want. I would love to see an option for persistsnt sorting, so when I open a Pic in a folder & sort by new, the next Pics would also be sorted by new. Also, a way to change the default Save location would be great.

compared to iOS, sadly this app is missing the other half of its feature set: boarders. I used phonto as much for the fonts as I did for adding boarders to a photo, and on my iPhone I liked phonto because it allowed me to give non-square photos a square boarder, right in the same clean, minimal app I'd add text on. Other apps are overwhelming.. and I love phonto for it's minimal and to the point design. But please, bring the boarders to android.

My score was originally a 5. I'm not sure what caused the issue I'm having, I know it is not because of me. Whenever I try to go back and edit text I have already typed, it will not let me, and instead wants me to make a completely new text. And yes, the text I wish to edit is selected when I hit the top right pencil.
