About this app

PROBE PLUS is for monitoring the wireless meat thermometer via Bluetooth connected, which provides real-time temperature monitoring and alarm functions. The APP content is simple and easy to operate and has comprehensive functions, which can help you cook food perfectly.

PROBE PLUS is also your right-hand man in the kitchen or on the grill, allowing you to get rid of the kitchen and the grill during cooking time, and let the APP monitor your food for you. You'll receive audio and message notifications on your smart device when your food is ready. This way, you don't have to stare at your food cooking all the time, giving you more time to focus on what's most important to you.

Function:
1. Bluetooth wireless connection, the real-time temperature of the probe is displayed in the APP through the transmission of wireless data by the wireless thermometer.
2. Two series product can be used, wired probe devices and wireless probe devices.
2. Alarm function:
- When the measured temperature reaches the preset temperature, the mobile phone will automatically alarm and remind.
- Probe low battery alarm, reminding users to charge in time.
- Device low battery alarm, reminding users to charge in time.
- Alarm function after disconnection.
- Over temperature alarm function, when the temperature exceeds the temperature range of the device, the mobile phone will automatically alarm and remind.
3.Time monitoring function, when the PROBE PLUS APP cooking setting is completed, click start, it will automatically enter the timing state, and calculate the total time taken from the current temperature to the set temperature alarm. Or set the count down timer to monitor the cooking food through time control.
4. USAD food temperature recommends is provided, or you can customized your favorite temperature setting.
5. Cooking time/temperature graph is provided, which will let you clear the temperature change at each time.
6. The historical cooking temperature setting record can be used again, allowing you to savor the flavor you most want.

Ratings and reviews

So far it worked great the 1st time. Second time I had to fiddle with it then worked perfectly. 3rd time the app is blank. Showing connected but no info. Reinstalled app after clearing it out. Nothing. Installed app onto a tablet. Nothing. Clearly an app issue. Sad cuz the thermo is nice and worked very well...WHEN it worked. Now it's worthless. Was my Xmas present too cuz I'm a smoking expert! In my mind of course...fix the app and I'll update.

Using this probe plus app it only works if the temp probe, charging base repeater, and phone are within a foot of each other. Move the phone away from the base(repeater) and the repeater will disconnect. Move there probe away from the base(repeater) and the probe will disconnect. So, I used the "Probe T" app with the same temp probe and it works fine (no base repeater required). The problem lies in the base/charger repeater bad design idea - just keep it simple. Trash the probe plus app.

I tried 2 different probes from different manufacturers both used this app. And both constantly disconnected. It seems that wireless probes aren't up there yet. Or this app has a few bugs. Either way I've wasted my money on something that doesn't work.
