Track and reward your child's reading with a free personal single topping pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Just read a minimum of 20 minutes a day for at least 15 days during the summer months and you will get a code you can redeem at any participating Pizza Hut location.

In 1984, Pizza Hut established the BOOK IT! National Reading Incentive Program to motivate children to read more and help develop a lifelong love of reading.

Love Book It! Nostalgic for me as I did it as a kid and now my kids can do it. Great way to motivate kids to keep reading over summer break! App is very user friendly. I just wish the stores would still give out buttons and stickers like they used to or something tangible that my kids can keep to be proud of what they've accomplished.

Awesome customer service: I ran into an app glitch where my four students' reading logs and "Claim" buttons disappeared after I redeemed the first child's June reward as well as profile issues. I emailed customer service, and they got back to me within several minutes. They escalated the technical bugs and glitches to their engineering team and immediately sent me the missing promo codes so all of my kids could get their earned rewards. The timely assistance definitely earned the review.

Very frustrating. It was working great but now that we have a prize, it won't let me log in so we can't redeem anything. I have the most current version of the app and it is the worst version so far! Edit (week later) - it finally let me back in but has deleted some of my kids' info including days logged and earned prize. Because of how BookIt is set up, I cannot go back and re-log the missing days. Extremely frustrating.

What’s new

Bug fix for some users (not naming any names) who waited till the last minute to claim their free pizza for June only to find out they waited too long. This new version uses the user's local timezone and includes other minor bug fixes. Thank you for participating in BOOK IT!.
