Well, I can not pair my phone to my PWD50W device. It shows the Bluetooth as being on, Bluetooth is on, on my phone, I select the WatchDog device, it tries to pair but doesn't. I can not access any of the information I need, like kilowatt hours. I have an extremely expensive surge protector that, I can't access or use any of it's functionality. I also tried to access the device via WiFi.....it would not connect. Vety very frustrated Galaxy S21 phone

I had trouble getting the Gen2 EPO 50 Amp to be able to be found on wifi and Bluetooth. I had all permissions enabled, but for some reason it needs GPS location turned on to be found even though it doesn't say it. Of course you can turn it off once it's linked to your wifi. I found this out from calling Hughes to see if they could help, this fixed the issue and things are working well at the moment.

This app does not work with any Samsung device. I even returned and replaced the product when their tech couldn't figure out why it wouldn't connect, he thought it might be defective. The replacement product wouldn't connect to the app either. I tried it on my sister's iPhone and it worked. So the app just doesn't work for Samsung phones or tablets (I tried both, 2025 Samsung phone and 2019 Samsung tablet).
