About this app

Snap to Calendar turns a screenshot into a calendar event. Someone messages you the dinner details, the clinic sends an appointment, a poster has the date on it — share the image and the event is filled in for you, without typing it out again. Or keep it as a to-do with a reminder instead.

Share a screenshot to the app, photograph the paper notice, pick an image from your gallery, or share plain text. The app reads it, fills in a card, and you check the card before anything is saved.

THE CARD IS THE POINT
Nothing is saved behind your back. You see the title, the date, the start and end time and the place, you correct whatever is wrong, and only then does it go to your calendar. If the date could be read two ways — 12/09 is the 12th of September in one country and the 9th of December in another — the app says so instead of guessing quietly.

ONE EVENT PER SNAP
Each image gives you one event — it does not read a whole month at once. If a picture holds several, you will need to add the others yourself.

YOUR IMAGES STAY ON YOUR PHONE
The words in a screenshot are always read on the device itself. The image is never uploaded — not in any mode, ever. There is no account and no sign-in.

TWO MODES, AND YOU CHOOSE
Smart extraction understands messy, conversational wording — "dinner next Fri at Maria's, 7ish". To do that it sends only the recognized TEXT, securely, to our server and Google's Gemini AI, which turn it into event fields. The text is processed, not stored. Smart is off until you switch it on, the app asks you plainly first, and you can turn it off again at any time. It needs a connection.

Basic mode keeps everything on this phone. It fills in explicit dates, times and places with built-in detection — less clever with casual phrasing, and you will correct the card more often. Basic is free, unlimited, and works with no connection at all.

Either way the suggestion can be wrong. That is exactly why the card is always shown to you first.

Pro: a monthly or yearly subscription for unlimited Smart extraction and .ics export. The exact price for your country is shown in the app before you pay, and you can cancel any time in Google Play — cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
