Every day, around ten products are recalled in France: food, cosmetics, toys, hygiene products, vehicles, due to contamination, undeclared allergens, safety defects, etc.

Since 2022, Alerte-Conso has been dedicated to helping you find out if one of these products is in your home.

Scan your products and then save the batch number, the date, or a photo of the packaging. If a recall is issued weeks later, you still have a way to check if it's yours.

• SCAN A PRODUCT

Scan the barcode to search for known recalls. Recent recalls remain available on your phone, even without an internet connection.

• NOTE THE BATCH NUMBER OR TAKE A PHOTO

Enter the batch number and date, let the app identify them in a photo, or simply keep the photo as a reminder.

• CREATE A SPECIFIC ALERT

Infant formula, Listeria, Salmonella, E. coli, brand, or keyword: choose exactly what you want to monitor and receive a notification in case of a corresponding recall.

• TRACK ALLERGENS

Gluten, peanuts, milk, mustard, sulfites: filter recalls by allergen. Consumer Alert also detects recalls where the allergen wasn't listed on the label—that's often where the real risk lies.

• SEARCH BY PRODUCT TYPE

Even if "cheese" doesn't appear in the official product information, Consumer Alert finds the recall using the product type and categories. Food, cosmetics, toys, hygiene products: all official recalls, categorized and enhanced.

• FILTER BY STORE

Only receive alerts relevant to you by selecting the stores where you shop: Carrefour, Leclerc, Intermarché, Super U, Auchan, and many more.

• SHARE A LIST WITH GRANDMA

The whole family can manage the same list: up to five people can add their products from their own phones and receive alerts.

Yes, really, 100% free, with no ads.

• PRIVACY PROTECTION

The app works immediately after downloading, without registration or an account. Scanned products, selected stores, and shared lists all work without collecting personal data. No profile of your purchases, habits, or family is created.

• INDEPENDENT

Reminders are provided by RappelConso, the official source in France, but Alerte-Conso has its own infrastructure and the application continues to function even when the official RappelConso website is unavailable.
