ČSOB SmartBanking App is intended primarily for ČSOB clients having an active electronic banking service. Some of its functions are publicly available also without the need to log in.
To activate the secured part, your identification number and PIN (identical to Internetbanking) are required. After entering these into the App, the Bank will send you an activation key to the agreed mobile number, or you can generate it via Token. The activation key is only necessary for activating the App, which is also the first login.
The next time you use the App, only your PIN is required. You can change it at any time via the portal moja.csob.sk. We recommend to change the PIN immediately after activating electronic banking services.
If necessary, you can deactivate the App or change some of its parameters in the Settings menu.
Other functions of the public part are accessible without logging in, also for users who are not ČSOB clients.
To maintain a high level of security, the App requires permission to use certain functions and sensors of the device. The permissions are intended exclusively for verification of the device status and technical communication of the App with the banking system, without the use of access to the client’s private data. The App does not use or manage phone calls, SMS and contacts in any way. By using technical communication in the App, the user does not incur any additional costs or fees.
The App cannot be used without certain permission.

The App is supported for phones and tablets with Android 5.0 operating system and its later versions.
The application is available in Slovak, English and Hungarian.
