Fast Production turns your inventory into a simple manufacturing workflow: plan a build, check you have the materials, produce, capture the real cost, and reorder what ran short — all from your phone.
Built for businesses that make what they sell — kitchens, bakeries, cosmetics, workshops, assembly and light manufacturing — Fast Production sits on top of your existing Fast Inventory account, so your products, recipes (bills of materials), stock and suppliers are already there.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Create production orders — pick a composite product, set a quantity, and plan the run.
• Check material availability before you start — see exactly what each order needs, what's on hand, and how many units you can build right now.
• Spot shortages instantly and turn them into draft purchase orders to your suppliers in one tap.
• Track the full lifecycle: Planned → In progress → Completed, with cancel any time.
• Record real output on completion — good units produced, scrap/waste, plus labour and overhead.
• Get accurate costing — every finished item's unit cost is calculated from materials + labour + overhead, and your product's average cost is updated automatically.
• Capture batch/lot numbers and expiry dates for traceability.
