Minesweeper as it should be: the classic logic puzzle without a single needless part. No ads during a game, no purchases, no accounts and no internet required.

Clear the whole field without touching a mine. A number shows how many mines sit in the neighboring cells — from there it is pure logic.

THE FIRST MOVE IS ALWAYS SAFE
Mines are laid out only after your first tap: never under that cell, never beside it. Every game opens on a clear area you can reason from straight away, so no game is ever lost to chance on move one.

HONESTLY, ABOUT PRIVACY
The game collects absolutely nothing. No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no system permissions — not even network access. Your records stay on the phone alone, and the data has nowhere to go: there is no server.

Free, offline and without fuss. If you were looking for simply a good minesweeper, you have found it.

Ratings and reviews

No ads, which is a huge plus, but I do have several complaints. Firstly, the game doesn't save when you exit; you have to start a new game every time. Second, most minesweeper implementations guarantee the first press is a blank space, which reveals a group of tiles at once. Because this one doesn't do that I find myself tapping blindly for a few tries, and often hitting a mine early.

NO ADS! No in-app purchases! No Data collected! Just good old fashioned Minesweeper! Thank you!! 😊 (Only thing I would add is a button to assign a flag. Sometimes if you don't hold it down long enough it can click the square instead of flag it, and make you lose. But this is a very small gripe considering it is a free game with no ads etc!)

How apps should be. No adds, no 'lives' trying to make you buy something to keep playing, it's minesweeper. Just minesweeper. It's wonderful <3 I think my only critique would be that the time you have to hold down to flag a mine is a bit long - I've lost many games to accidentally revealing a mine rather than flagging it so a setting to change that would be great, but otherwise functionally perfect <3
