One exercise. One timer. Tap anywhere to count a rep.
Suzztain is a training timer for people who work through a session one movement at a time. Pick an exercise, set a duration, start. The whole screen is the tap target, so you count reps without hunting for a button.
THERE IS NO PAUSE
Once a timer starts it runs until it ends or you save it. That is deliberate: no stalling, no half sets, no timer left paused in your pocket for twenty minutes. Finish early, save early — it still counts.
The timer does not care what your phone does. Lock the screen, switch apps, let the battery saver do its worst. Elapsed time is computed rather than counted, so it stays right even if the app is killed outright.
RUN MORE THAN ONE
Timers are concurrent. Start a plank, start a wall sit, and count reps on either. Each one has its own alarm and its own notification, and taking one past its target does nothing to the others.
A MAP OF WHAT YOU HAVE TRAINED
Every saved session feeds a body map of 20 muscles, front and back, tinted by how hard and how recently each was worked. Load fades over time, so the map answers what a workout log cannot: what is ready today, and what have you quietly neglected for a fortnight?
Turn on recovery reminders and the app says when a muscle has come back — once, when it happens, and never at three in the morning.
HISTORY THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS
- Sessions grouped by day, with totals and a comparison against the period before
- Personal records per exercise, computed as you save
- Charts for activity, volume, muscle-group share and your most-trained movements
- Every session editable afterwards: correct a count, add a tag, write a note
34 bodyweight exercises ship with the app, each mapped to the muscles it works. Build your own if yours is missing.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No account. No sign-in. No ads. Export your sessions as CSV for a spreadsheet, or take a full JSON backup and restore it on a new phone. Restore merges rather than overwrites, so training you did in between is never lost.
WHAT IT COSTS
Free to download, with a 7-day free trial. After that it is one subscription billed every 3 months through Google Play, renewing automatically until you cancel — which you can do at any time in your Play subscriptions. Google Play shows the price for your country on this page. No ads, and nothing else to buy.
If a subscription lapses, the app does not lock you out of your own training. History, stats, the body map, CSV export and backup all keep working. Only starting a new timer is paused.
Light, quiet and legible, with a dark mode you choose rather than one that flips on you. Tested at 200% font scale. In English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German — including every exercise and muscle name.
Suzztain does one thing: it times a single exercise, counts what you did, and shows what it cost your body.
One exercise, one timer. Tap to count reps and map the muscles you work.
