Incoming calls inconsistently make it to my phone and always start with speakers enabled.
This app was terrible. I paid for the gold version. I tested it with my system at work and was constantly cut off. When I put clients on hold the line would just go dead. It would not even play our hold music or go to voice mail. Transfers did not work at all and the connection was awful when it did work. I work for an IT company and my team of phone and computer technicians were unable to get this app to work at a usable consistancy. I would not recommend paying for this app. Despite the desktop version working well. How do I arrange a refund?
The app is so far so good but it is missing a lot of functionalities compared with media5. I like to make 2 feature requests and I will rate it 5 stars if the features are available either in future updates or in the newer version currently in beta. 1. Implement a support for internal speaker gain. The current gain in the setting only applies to the loud speaker. Make a separate setting for internal speaker gain. 2. Implement an in-built SIP trace or if not, make it possible to send sip trace to syslog server. This app will be worth my 10 stars if these two features are implemented. I am currently looking for alternatives to media5 because it is going yo reach an end-of-life by August 2018 and I found zoiper as a great replacement. These are the two reasons I still use media5 instead of this great app. If these two features are implemented, I will stop using media5 right away and buy the gold subscription, including all the premium features. I will be looking forward to your input on this. Thanks in advance.
Not serious! I bought gold licence including g729. The became "lite" but worst. Now it is "beta" and I cant no longer log in with my usual SIP provider! What a non serious customer care!
New version simply doesn't work at all. Fresh install and it crashes in a loop. When I'm finally able to use it, I can see it register on the PBX but the line never rings. I have a second device with an older version and no such problem. It also drops calls but keeps the line active, so you think the person is just ignoring you while in fact they think you hung up.
I have been using this app for a couple of months and have generally had a good experience until a few days ago. I am unable to make any outgoing calls and keep receiving a 'Timeout 408' message after trying to dial out. It is not my internet connection or my firewall as I am still able to dial out from my computer which is connected to the same wifi but the sound quality is awful. I am still receiving incoming calls. Please advise how I could fix this as it is interfering with my work and causing me to lose money.
