About this app

ZOLL Respond allows existing ZOLL customers the ability for response crews, dispatchers, and medical facilities to view and respond to their trips and navigate to pick-up and drop-off points. ZOLL Respond is integrated with RescueNet Dispatch, which allows the dispatcher to communicate with field crews using multiple methods. ZOLL Respond offers a robust new feature set including not only verbal communication, but also non-verbal communication via chat, Push-To-Talk that help cut out unnecessary phone calls. Live streaming video communication, too, allows field users to directly connect to doctors at medical facilities. ZOLL Respond uses Google map-based routing, traffic alerts, satellite view, and turn-by-turn directions. A detailed view allows supervisors to see the location of their crews, the current response state of their crews, and trip details associated with all of their crews and vehicles.

1. You may have this app open in the background but, when trying to open, it often fails, and you must reopen and log back in to access. Definitely stressful at times. 2. App may alarm after a call is finished, unnecessarily stressful at times. 3. Navigation is unreliable, better to copy adresses and input them onto separate map application. 4. Huge drain on battery and performance. Wish the app was better optimized given the unique and high stress situations this app is used for.

Running this app is a massive drain on whatever device it's installed on. DO NOT rely on it for route guidance; depending upon the destination you can be anywhere from the other side of the street to miles away from your intended destination. You're better off typing the address into whatever your default map application is. After being sent miles in the wrong direction my first time using the app I quickly learned to never rely on the app.

Works sometimes, but often keeps alarming even after accepting the call. Accepting the call does not notify dispatch of accepting the call, it only shuts up the ringing. Changing status to transporting is clunky, since it always requires you to manually type in the destination and offers no form of "frequent" or "recent destinations." When you are assigned a posting assignment rather than a call, you can only see the posting assignment when the notification is active.

Thank you Jordan. Respond can be set to require destination which your agency has leveraged, so unfortunately when configured on, users must fill in the dropoff loc. Regarding the call not notifying dispatch, please troubleshoot with our support staff. Lastly, frequent destinations and atpost enhancements are being considered for future releases.
