HueRoom is a calm, offline-first companion for choosing interior colors with confidence. Instead of random swatches, every palette is curated around a real decorating style and comes with the color theory that makes it work — so you understand not just what to use, but why.
Browse a growing library of hand-picked palettes organized by interior style, room, mood, season, and color harmony. Each palette follows the classic 60-30-10 rule (a dominant color, a secondary, and an accent), names every color, and explains the harmony type and temperature behind the combination.
What you can do:
• Browse curated palettes by style — Japandi, Scandinavian, Mid-century, Boho, Industrial, Mediterranean, Modern Farmhouse, Minimalist, Coastal, Art Deco, Contemporary, Organic Modern, Wabi-sabi, Cottagecore, Traditional, and more.
• Filter by room (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office, dining room, kids), by mood, by season, and by color harmony.
• Read the "why it works" note on every palette: harmony type, warm and cool balance, and the 60-30-10 breakdown.
• Extract a palette from your own photo, then see which interior styles it most resembles and the closest curated palettes to explore.
• Find the closest paint-brand colors for any swatch (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Dulux, RAL) as a starting point for shopping.
• Copy color values in HEX, RGB, and HSL with a tap.
• Build a color harmony from any base color with the built-in wheel (complementary, analogous, triadic, and more).
• Save favorites and create your own palettes.
• Get an optional daily palette idea as a gentle notification.
Designed to be simple:
HueRoom works fully offline — the entire curated library lives on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no personal data collection. Light and dark themes are included, and the interface stays quiet so the colors do the talking.
Good for:
• Planning a room repaint or refresh
• Choosing a cohesive scheme for a new home
• Designers and decorators gathering quick references
• Anyone learning how color harmony and the 60-30-10 rule work
