Great. If you're looking for a way to host events, you can pay for a lot worse than Erg Racing Online. To host an event, you create it, and then share the access code, the format is exactly like that of an indoor rowing event, no frills, just boat shapes being plotted in lanes moving across the screen. I've used this, row pro, and others, and for the money, there's no better software.

App is a little buggy. You can change your display name for races but it doesn't save it and always resets each time the app is loaded. Also, the updated display name often isn't reflected in the participants list of joined races. If you unregister from a race then it often doesn't get updated without restarting the app. Major downside is that most public races are in the US or Europe so race times are typically in the middle of the night. No races at times that work for Australia.

The guys at C2 must have looked at Zwift and thought "No that's too slick and easy, we need something that's massively more complex to use. We need a race organisers website, individual invites, competitor id's, and 8 digit codes to even get added manually by the race organiser." I can't see anyone jumping through the hoops required to join or organise a race.
