PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

• Query all packages — required to display your full list of installed apps so you can browse, extract, and share them. This is the core function of the app.
• Request install packages — required to reinstall APKs from your local backup directly through the app.
• Internet / Network state — used only to show non-intrusive banner ads via Google AdMob, which helps keep the app free.

AppShare does not collect, upload, or share any of your personal data or APK files. All files are stored locally on your device only.

What’s new

Share over Wi-Fi — new

Sending an app no longer depends on a chat app accepting .apk files. Pick "Over Wi-Fi" and the other phone scans a QR code, or types a short address and a 6-digit code, and downloads straight from you. No internet, no size limit, works on a hotspot.
