Transfer files between Android devices with Files To Other Devices. Share photos, videos, documents and other files wirelessly using Wi-Fi Direct (Wi-Fi P2P). Connect devices directly, without mobile data, internet access or a cloud account.

What you can do:
• Send photos, videos, documents and other files to another Android device.
• Browse internal storage and supported SD cards.
• Find files by type before choosing what to send.
• Transfer files locally between the connected devices, without uploading them to cloud storage.

How to transfer files:
1. Install Files To Other Devices on both Android devices.
2. Open the app and connect the devices using Wi-Fi Direct.
3. Choose the files you want to share from internal storage or an SD card.
4. Start the wireless transfer to the other device.

Share photos with someone nearby, move documents to another Android phone or transfer files when internet access is unavailable. Your files travel directly between your devices.

Ratings and reviews

My first review was erroneous so i had to come back to edit it. There seems to be too many bugs and problems using this app which need sorting out, e.g. downloads ending up in wrong storage when everything visibly in order, repeatedly 'hanging up' and failing to copy after informing me 'copying in progress please wait', and other annoying and time consuming things. As i said yesterday better instructions are also needed to use this app effectively & without undue problems. Brent Collins .

app looks ok but: instructions are cryptic or non existent, assumes knowledge an ordinary user doesn't have ("root"???), will not recognize my tablet 3 inches away, doesn't register choices in "setup," "help" section is worthless. Other than that, it looks pretty.

Transferring a single file takes about 2 min. To transfer many files (5 GB) or more can take 20' or more. Overall it is too slow to transfer files.
