MARCO helps families turn the daily trip to school into something safer, healthier and more fun.

Parents plan and evaluate the best route to school; children follow it, log their trips and earn rewards together with their class.

FOR PARENTS
• Create your family account and add your children
• Draw your child's route to school directly on the map — no GPS tracking involved
• Every route is scored for safety, air quality and noise, so you can compare options and choose with confidence
• Sync the chosen route to your child's device
• Export any route as a GPX file

FOR STUDENTS
• Child-friendly sign-in with just a nickname and PIN — no email, no phone number
• Log your daily trips to school and watch your streak grow
• Earn badges and complete quests
• Join your class to take part in class challenges and rankings

PRIVACY FIRST
MARCO is built for families:
• No ads and no third-party analytics
• No GPS or location tracking — routes are drawn by hand by parents
• Children's accounts are pseudonymous (nickname + PIN only)
• Parents stay in control of their children's accounts at all times

ABOUT THE PILOT
MARCO is developed within CLIMABOROUGH, an EU Horizon Europe project helping cities design climate-friendly services, and is piloted with primary schools in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Available in Czech and English.
