About this app

BA-mobil is the customer app of the Federal Employment Agency.

Please note:
BA-mobil is NOT an app for two-factor authentication (TOTP), but rather makes it easier for you to contact the Federal Employment Agency.

With BA-mobil you can access selected functions of your online profile at any time.

Are you registered as unemployed or looking for work?

Do you already have access data for your customer account at the Federal Employment Agency?

Do you have a personal contact person?

Then you can LOG IN to BA-mobil WITH YOUR ACCESS DATA. You already know the username and password from the Federal Employment Agency homepage: www.arbeitsagentur.de

Some selected FUNCTIONS from BA-mobil:

• CURRENT INFORMATION:
You can keep track of your upcoming appointments, new messages, placement suggestions, applications and much more in one place (also via push notification).

• TO UPLOAD DOCUMENTS:
Upload documents relating to your request and submit them digitally to the Federal Employment Agency.

• MAILBOXES:
You can view your messages in the benefits and placement mailbox at any time and, among other things, contact the Federal Employment Agency on the topics of cash benefits and advice and placement.

• MANAGE APPOINTMENTS:
View your upcoming and recently past appointments, save the appointments directly in your smartphone's calendar and use the map app on your smartphone to show you the route to your appointment location.

• NOTICES AND EVIDENCE:
Notifications and evidence can be displayed to you as a PDF file if you have agreed to this in the portal.

• REPORT CHANGES:
Inform your agency about important events. For example, you can easily submit a photo of your certificate of incapacity for work via your smartphone.

• TRACK PROCESSING STATUS:
View the current processing status of your online applications at any time.

Sometimes, adding documents can be a bit complicated. All the agents in the agency want us to use this app, but in the end, it's always better and smoother to use the web page directly for essential things. I use an online app for notifications; all the transactions are done directly on the website. I think it can be improved, so that's why I gave 3 stars.

It does not allow non mother tongue speakers to translate a message. No copy option is possible to translate the read in Google translate and it also does not allow any in-text translation. It is simply blocked. Hugely frustrating. I heard it is working on a translation in app service. Why re-invent the wheel when it exists? This is bad. Just bad. How many immigrants are living in Germany and are not C1 level yet by the time they have to deal with Arbeitsagentur? too many to block translation!

How??? How does the system manage to forget my password?? I have it written down so I know it's the System's fault. Why is it impossible to change my password?? Why is there an "unlock" request that doesn't do anything?? How are government apps this bad?? I could literally Develop a better app in a week!
