Login & Security

As a statutory health insurance provider, the protection of your sensitive health data is our highest priority. Therefore, secure identification is required after registration. You can conveniently complete this process – either via activation letter, the online ID function (eID), the ePassport procedure, or with your electronic health card (eGK) and PIN.

After successful identification, you will also have access to further digital health services, including the electronic patient record (ePA) and thus the organ donor register, the TI Messenger, and the e-prescription.

Integrity Check

For additional security, the app uses an integrity check. This verifies whether your device is unmodified and secure – based on hardware-based procedures.

This helps to optimally protect your sensitive data. Please note: Devices that do not pass this check (e.g., due to rooting or a modified operating system) may not be supported.

The app cannot be used on devices with older operating systems, as security updates are no longer provided for these systems. To protect your sensitive data, we rely on current security standards.
