About this app

With BARMER eCare, you have access to your electronic patient record and can see the information your doctors have entered. Save important documents yourself and make your treatment safer and faster.

Try it now in demo mode: Simply download the app and launch it.

- Organize documents digitally:
Goodbye filing cabinets! With eCare, you always have your important documents at hand.

- Redeem e-prescriptions:
Receive e-prescriptions from your doctor's office in eCare. Redeem them at a pharmacy online or near you and have your medication delivered or pick it up. Your e-prescriptions for health apps (DiGAs) and for orthopedic aids such as insoles and bandages can also be redeemed digitally.

- Keep track of your medications:
All prescribed medications are automatically added to your medication list in the BARMER eCare app. Add over-the-counter medications, activate the medication reminder, and play it safe with the interaction checker. Misplaced your medication's package insert? If it's already digitized, you can access it directly in the app.

- Understand lab results:
Enter your lab results, track their trends, and learn what the values ​​mean using the glossary.

- Keep track of your treatment history:
Quickly get an overview of your prescribed medications, diagnoses, and treatments.

- Stay optimally protected with your vaccination status:
View your vaccination status at any time and find out when your next vaccinations are due. Enter your vaccinations and see which ones are recommended.

- Control access to your patient file: By inserting your health insurance card, you grant a medical practice access to your file. Manage permissions according to your preferences via eCare. You can share your file with a practice and shorten or extend the access period. Blocking access to a practice is also possible. If you don't want to share a document, hide it.

- Manage files for family members:
Access the files of your children and relatives as well. You can set up a representative and manage access to other documents and permissions via eCare.

- Communicate with doctors and BARMER: Exchange messages securely with your doctors, other medical facilities, or BARMER via chat.
