About this app

AnDi is the anti-discrimination app of the state of Berlin. With this app you can find out all about discrimination and equal treatment. AnDi helps you to find a suitable anti-discrimination advice center in Berlin. In Berlin you can also use the app to report incidents of discrimination, regardless of whether you are affected yourself or have observed them.
The AnDi app is an offer from the State Office for Equal Treatment - Against Discrimination (LADS). LADS is part of the Berlin Senate Department for Justice, Consumer Protection and Anti-Discrimination.
Why did we develop a mobile app? We want people to have quick help at hand in the event of discrimination. We want people to know and exercise their rights. We want to make discrimination visible. It is important that discrimination is discussed. Only then can something change.
AnDi is available in 7 different languages (German, English, Arabic, Farsi, French, Russian, Turkish). The app works in the language that your mobile device is set to by default. The desired language can also be changed manually in the app via the settings.

Users can not access the source code of the AnDi app. It seems the app is closed-source. Only the developers / owners of the app can access the source code. This is one starting point of discrimination.
