About this app

The Patient App from BIOTRONIK SE & Co. KG supports patients in their daily lives with a BIOTRONIK cardiac device. The app is intended for patients who want to be more active in their therapy and take responsibility for their own health.

o Edora, Eluna, Enitra, Enticos, Epyra, Etrinsa, Evity
o Acticor, Ilivia, Ilivia Neo, Inlexa, Intica, Intica Neo, Inventra, Iperia, Itrevia, Rivacor
o BIOMONITOR III, BIOMONITOR IIIm
o Future cardiac devices

As a patient, you can use these main functions of the Patient App:
• Document your symptoms quickly and easily with the Patient App.
• Share the documented symptoms automatically with your physician (1,2).
• View the time of the last data transfer (2) from your device to the BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring® system. The app helps you to troubleshoot any data transmission issues.
• You can quickly access your digital patient ID card if needed (e.g., during security check at the airport).
• Check the current battery and device status of your implant, indicating if the device is working properly (2).
• View data on your mean heart rate and mean heart rate at rest collected from your implanted device (2).
Full functionality of the app should be accessible when the implanted device is communicating with the BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring® system. Please always consult your doctor, before you start to use the app or Home Monitoring.
(1) Depending on the internet connection or app access setting in the Home Monitoring system, your doctor may not always receive your documented symptoms. BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring and Patient App are not a replacement for emergency care. PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY NUMBER IN AN EMERGENCY.
(2) Internet connection via mobile network or Wi-Fi is required.

The Doopa

stopped getting the automatic remote check-ins from my doctor. downloaded the app in hopes I could get the same information I would have received with the remote check-ins. I want to see a number of events, percentage which each lead of my pace makers works how much, the fancy cardiographs ECT ECT. I know I'm not a doctor but I looked forward to seeing everything and was sadly disappointed.

Dear Doopa, Our top priority is always the quality and safety of our implanted devices. The app is designed as an additional tool to support patients in managing their device, but we understand that it may not currently provide the full level of detail you were hoping to see. Doesn't work period! I have entered ALL the requested information and the last screen says "Something went wrong. Wait a week. Blah, blah, blah..." I've had my device for 5 days now. I have no idea if my information is going to the data center bc this app says that I may have not been connected with them yet, basically! It seems that literally EVERYONE is having the same issue and all you keep telling everyone is to write an email to the company? You need to fix the problem or dump the app!

The app will not work on my phone. The scanner for the code doesn't automatically start and I've had it over 1 month. Even when I Manually enter the completely correct information it doesn't work. I don't have a new card - they just sent me the box & no new patient id. It doesn't matter because it just fails. I can read it with a 2nd party qr reader but it doesn't work to import it. What load of anger. Biotronik dual lead pacemaker. I've been trying so many times I lost my old card.
