Ratings and reviews

Good game, but I wish there was a way to get just the extra empire slots from the millennium edition. I paid for both gold and ruby when they came out, so being expected to shell out 9 bucks for two redundant DLCs with no credit for what I already paid in order to get more save slots makes me feel like I'm being penalized for getting in on the ground floor.

Wanted to take a second and share my appreciation for this game. I love the old school vibes. At the start there is great hints and helps to get going. But it does go away at one point and leave you to figure out things after that. I have been free to play for almost 3 months and have been able to progress just fine. If people want to make it easier and purchase. The price for buying advantages is more than fair. Ad fee. This is all around a great game.

I didn't start playing before the update, so I didn't lose any progress like some other reviewers. The UI could probably use some tweaking, but I don't get how some of these reviewers are saying that it's so hard to navigate or find what they're looking for. That being said, I really do seem to enjoy this game. Got hooked immediately. Now I pop on it at least 3-5 times a day for 5-10 minutes to progress some various tasks. The sorry is pretty good, but combat and progression can be tedious.
