About this app

The Swiss Diabetes Foundation (SDS) is re-launching the Diabetes Pass as a free app. You no longer have to carry a booklet with you to manage your diabetes optimally. The app is available in German, French and Italian.

How is the "Diabetes Pass" app structured?

In a first part, you can enter personal data such as the details of the attending physician, who should be informed in emergencies and where any possible living will has been deposited. A list can list prescriptions and self-bought medicines and identify any incompatibilities.

In a second part, the annual controls and their results are recorded. Thus, the important dates are noted in the calendar and allow the entry of HbA1c value, body weight, blood pressure and severe hypoglycemia.

What else does the app offer?

The Diabetes Pass provides information on driving, eye control, insulin therapy, diabetes education, and the ability to provide a doctor's medical certificate for air travel. In addition, an emergency card can be defined as a lock screen. The recorded information and values ​​can easily be sent via email.

The Diabetes Pass helps sufferers to self-control their diabetes.
