Strengthen your cognitive abilities with MS Cognition! Playfully train cognitive skills that are relevant for coping with everyday life and are particularly often impaired in MS: attention, memory and executive functions.

The MS Kognition exercises were developed together with experts and offer special, scientifically based exercises in the following areas:

- Attention: Focused (serving drinks), divided (catching fish) and selective attention (everything under control?), responsiveness (flash reaction)
-Memory: working memory (penultimate), long-term memory (series memory, troublemaker), name memory (who was it?)
-Executive functions: word finding (word search), planning ability (roster), reasoning (all logical, right?)

The exercises usually have several levels of difficulty that can be completed.

After each round of practice, you will immediately receive an evaluation with the current result and the previous result history. In addition, your records are collected in statistics that you can share with friends.

The app is not only suitable for people with MS, but also for anyone who wants to train and improve general cognitive skills relevant to everyday life in a playful way.

MS Kognition was realized by the independent patient organization AMSEL, Aktion Multiple Sclerosis Sufferers, State Association of the DMSG in Baden-Württemberg e.V. and the DMSG, Bundesverband e.V. with the support of the Techniker Krankenkasse.

The professional support was provided by Dipl. Psych. Heike Meißner, Head of Psychology, and Prof. Dr. med. Peter Flachenecker, Chief Physician, both Neurological Rehabilitation Center Quellenhof, Bad Wildbad.
