About this app

FeverApp is your diary to document acute infectious diseases, medication intake, symptoms, vaccines, and more for you and your family. The multimedia library helps to understand illness as a process and fever as a resource of your immune system. It is based on current guidelines regarding fever and febrile diseases. Use the medication scanner to add medicines to your list and track the intake quantity, date and time.

FeverApp features:
- Create separate profiles for each family member
- Document and overview febrile episodes and diseases over time
- Document febrile seizures
- Document symptoms, measures and medications
- Super easy new medication scanning feature
- A graph view of well-being and other details
- Set reminders for temperature measurements
- Receive helpful tips from “Dr. Fee”
- Brief informative videos
- Read about recent scientific articles and guidelines about fever
- Find medication alternatives in Info library
- You can create an export of your entries in the form of a PDF.

Important notes:
- the use of the FeverApp requires the generation of an eight-digit family code, with which several family members can manage the same profiles.
- the cooperating medical practices distribute four-digit practice codes with which a family code can be generated. If you are interested without a doctor, please contact us via www.feverapp.de/kontakt.
- the FeverApp does not measure the temperature itself, you need your own thermometer.
- Your input in the Feverapp helps Prof. David Martin and his team from the University Witten/Herdecke gain a deeper understanding of fever. The project is finantially supported by a grant from the the German Ministry of Education and Research

Currently available in 10 languages: German, English, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, French, Italian, Polish, Dutch.

it is awful... created just to get data for creators own research. 1) not comfortable interface and design, you cannot even clear see your own data submitted in the app. any periods App is better. 2) not informative. just constantly assure you that you should consult a doctor. Of course parents consult a doctor when their kid has a fever. 3) boring

We get thanked every day by parents and physicians for what the FeverApp offers. We only analyse non-personal information, and only to produce scientific papers. We have nothing to do with any kind of marketing or any kind of use of information for other reasons than purely scientific and non-profit. You can read our papers on www.feverapp.de.
