With the Hildesheim bike pin, we not only want to motivate residents of the city and district of Hildesheim to rediscover their home region, but also encourage tourists to explore the diverse Hildesheim region by bike.
Discover the cultural monuments, sights and gems of this interesting region on 20 bike tours with over 800 kilometers and enjoy the untouched nature in the hilly Leine Uplands, the enchanting river landscapes around Nette, Innerste, Lamme and Leine.
The 5 km to 63 km long tours have different themes and are designed as family tours. A special feature is the bike tour through Hildesheim on the Rose Route, which takes you to over 20 sights in the city. Allow enough time for sightseeing for this tour.
Each tour has a digital "info/stamping point" with comprehensive information in text and audio format. With this innovation, the popular "collecting stamps" is now also popular among cyclists. Once you have collected 20 digital stamps, you will receive the “Hildesheim bike needle” as a prize in the participating tourist information offices in the region.

The map data is loaded during the installation of the app. You can then use the Hildesheimer Rad Nadel app "offline". This means that an internet connection is no longer required. An online connection must be established to access external websites, e-mail and telephone calls. If no WLAN is available, activate the "Mobile network" switch in your smartphone's settings. Please note that this is at the expense of your data volume.
In order for your current position to be shown on the map, please confirm that the app has access to your device location.
