About this app
The IGS Anna Seghers app brings the IGS Anna Seghers Mainz school portal to your smartphone and tablet. Timetables, substitute teachers, school events, and announcements are always up-to-date.
Students can view their timetable, substitute teachers, school events, absences, and a list of teachers. They can chat with classmates and teachers, find materials, submit assignments in the learning environment, read school announcements, participate in video conferences, and access the resource pool.
Parents receive letters digitally and can confirm them directly in the app, view their child's timetable and substitute teachers, keep track of absences, and stay informed about all school events.
Teachers maintain class and course registers, record absences, chat with classes, courses, and colleagues, send announcements and letters to parents, and upload materials to the learning environment.
Push notifications are sent for substitute teachers, timetable changes, new chat messages, letters to parents, and new materials in the learning environment. Each type of notification can be individually disabled in the settings.

Multiple accounts, for example for siblings, can be used in one app. Files and photos can be shared directly from other apps to the portal, and there are light and dark themes available.
